Who We Are

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide trained lay counselors to offer accurate information and assistance for GIs and their families regarding military regulations, including relevant referrals to professionals in the Fort Riley area.

Purpose Statement

The Flint Hills GI Hotline purpose is to assure that GIs and their families have accurate information on military regulations and options regarding military discharge, grievance and complaint procedures and other civil rights. The hotline accepts calls about issues of harassment, sexual orientation, AWOL, conscientious objection, medical and hardship discharges, discrimination and related concerns.

Calls will be taken by trained lay counselors. When lawyers, psychiatrists, medical doctors or professional counselors are indicated, referral will be suggested.
