What We Do

The Hotline accepts calls from GIs and families to give assistance regarding military regulations and options in the areas of:

  • Discharge Status (including medical and hardship discharge)
  • Sexual Orientation
  • Conscientious Objection
  • AWOL/UA
  • Hazing
  • Discrimination
  • Delayed Entry Program
  • Entry Level Separation
  • GI Rights

We do not provide financial assistance.

The lay counselors who will answer the hotline calls are not lawyers and cannot give legal advice.

For the Fort Riley area, we will help make referrals to professionals as indicated:

  • Social workers and professional counselors
  • Psychiatrists
  • Lawyers
  • Medical doctors

Our service is free and private.

We do not report to any military or government agency.
